I cannot recommend Five Phases Acupuncture and Dr. Tae enough. I’ve been seeing him for over a year now, and truly—there is nothing he hasn’t helped me with 😂 From stress and digestion to pain, energy, and things I didn’t even realize were connected, Dr. Tae always knows exactly what my body needs. He is incredibly knowledgeable, intuitive, and attentive. Every session feels thoughtful and personalized, never rushed. I always leave feeling calmer, more balanced, and genuinely better than when I walked in. If you’re looking for someone who treats the whole person and not just symptoms, this is the place. So grateful to have found Dr. Tae—he’s been a game changer for my health and overall well-being.

This review is 2 years late, after my first, and last, visit with Dr.Tae. I’m really not someone who leaves reviews, but my relational experience with Dr.Tae was the most disappointing interaction I’ve ever had with a doctor. I want to state that the acupuncture itself was effective. However, it was at the end while I was finishing up payment, that Dr.Tae made several complaint-like comments on my low energy, and then proceeded to ask, “How do you think that makes me feel?“ I was genuinely shocked. As a patient seeking care for not feeling well, being asked to consider the practitioners emotional experience to my condition, and made to feel responsible for it, felt completely unprofessional and inappropriate. I came in with a high-grade ankle sprain, barely able to touch my toes to the ground — and now I’m walking comfortably and healing faster than expected. Even my PCP said I’m ahead of schedule! His acupuncture is truly transformative. Every session melts the pain away and resets my body. He genuinely cares and always reminds me that no pain doesn’t mean fully healed — that guidance keeps me consistent and smart about recovery. His staff is kind, and the office has a calm, uplifting energy that makes every visit feel like therapy for both body and mind. A five star review really doesn’t even do this place justice. I stumbled upon Tae by just a quick google search and he has been healing me for almost 6 months now and I have never looked back. From the bedside manner to the expertise he brings it’s incomparable to anything I’ve ever experienced. His knowledge is incredible and I have healed in ways I never knew I needed. I cannot recommend this place enough.
