I can’t say enough great things about Tammy from Long Island Speech & Myo. My daughter began myofunctional therapy with her because of a tongue thrust and ongoing sleep troubles. From the very first session, Tammy was patient, engaging, and truly dedicated to helping her. She worked with my daughter every week, teaching her how to locate and maintain the correct tongue position — and somehow made the whole process fun. My daughter actually looked forward to her sessions with Tammy, which says everything! The progress has been incredible. I noticed a big improvement in her sleeping habits; she’s now sleeping through the night, and I had no idea her tongue posture could be connected to that. She’s also so much more aware of her tongue placement throughout the day and is speaking more clear

Tammy is amazing. So compassionate. Always makes herself available and makes you feel supported. Great with kids and knowledgable about oral function and holistic approaches. She also has great referrals and relationships with the right professionals to create a team approach. We love her!

I brought my son in for an evaluation with Tammy and she was incredible and very knowledgeable! After a thorough examination she directed us to all the right specialists and guided us on the right next steps we should take to resolve our concerns. She was easy to reach and available every step of the way with any questions I had. Highly recommend!!
