First Med Urgent Care - Shawnee

The staff was amazing. They were all very polite. The Physician Assistant that treated me, Ginger, had great bedside manner. She was very knowledgeable, understanding, and not condescending at all. Her attention to detail was phenomena! This was the most thorough physical exam I've had in years. She also took her time to help me understand a lot of what has been going on with my health, beyond what was originally the chief complaint. She answered many questions regarding medication, and brought a very serious potential problem to my attention, and I will forever be greatful for her taking the time to asses and explain everything. Kiddo woke up not feeling well.  Got in the office at 9:30 and was out by 10.   Tests ran and exam.  It was the best service ever. Highly recommend. Rory is one of the most amazing practitioners we have met and cares for all his patients and families. Thank you for seeing kiddos and making our visits wfast, friendly, and wonderful all at the same time!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a great experience at First Med of Shawnee! Wendy at the front desk was friendly and efficient with check-in and paperwork, which made things easy from the start. Misty did a wonderful job with triage and applying the splint—very gentle and patient. Rachel took the X-rays quickly and helped my 7-year-old feel comfortable. Dr. Sanda performed a very thorough exam and took the time to explain everything clearly. Every staff member interacted so well with my child and made the visit smooth and reassuring. Highly recommend this clinic!

Having a long history of medical problems and many Dr visits and hospitals I am always nervous and never huge fan when I have to go. That said Misty was very kind and attentive and Ginger was amazing, she listened and was very personable and made me feel at ease which is a rare feat. I appreciate the service here very much and definitely recommend them to anyone looking. 10/10

If you have to run to an urgent care center… I would definitely recommend this place! Even as a late evening visit; the girls working were super friendly, very professional, & quick as could be! All I needed was a flu shot - so it really wasn’t anything difficult or special. LOL! But they kinda made it fun because you could tell they enjoy working together. Shout out to Kialee, who did the injection, I didn’t even feel it!! Girl, you rock!!
