I would stay far away from seeing Dr. John Hathaway for your children. NP Mallory Washington is my son’s main provider and she is the best. My son saw Dr. Hathaway ONCE for his yearly checkup recently and he made me feel extremely uncomfortable. He was talking about his weight and height as if it would be an issue in a few years (my son is 50 pounds and 49 inches tall) far from a problem. He also was speaking to me about adults touching my child and how to prevent this which in my opinion is extremely inappropriate to do in front of a 5 year old as a doctor. It’s one thing to talk to the parent but this is not something to be brought up as it was. This is something a parent discusses with their child alone. Truly made me feel very unsettled and uncomfortable for him to randomly bring this

I cannot even begin to rave enough about NP Mallory Washington. All three of my girls see her and she is just incredible. She is thorough, kind and compassionate. She never makes them feel bad about themselves and gosh, I’ve never seen someone so effectively walk a young girl through hormonal changes. She has a way with kids that is just so special. My kids are 10, 8 and 9 months and she has been spectacular with all three.

It was my first time at this office with my son. the front desk workers were really kind and the lady who took us back to the room was very friendly and helpful. my problem was with the doctor, Dr. Spillerman . at first there was no real issues . i wouldn’t go to say she’s super friendly or open but she’s definitely not rude . it was alright . then towards the end of my appointment when it came to the shots . there was one that me and my child’s father was still discussing so i notified them i would be declining that one. when the nurse stepped outside and i assume told the doctor i was declining. she proceeded to open the exam room door and hold it open and say “no to this shot? you know he won’t be able to go to school . there are more cases of this popping up” all while the door is stil

This is my first baby and I’ve been late to almost every appointment and they have always been understanding and fit us in without any attitude or making me feel bad . As a first time mom I’m figuring everything out and ask a lot of questions so this is very much appreciated. Also every time we go we are asked if we’re okay on formula and if we need anything. They have lotions coupons and even these gift cards below. Definitely worth the 35 minute commute I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else with my daughter.

Was here for years for my children. Wait times could be long but was generally happy with most of the providers. However once I had to start filling out my children’s preferred pronouns and their gender identity as part of their annual paper work we left! My oldest was only 5!
