First Coast Mohs of Mandarin

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Brainard. She was incredibly thorough, professional, and took the time to ask thoughtful questions while answering every one of mine. I never felt rushed and truly felt listened to. I left my appointment feeling confident, reassured, and safe knowing my skin health is being carefully monitored for the year ahead. Highly recommend.

Always a great experience at First Coast Mohs in Mandarin. The office staff is always welcoming and friendly. The medical staff is always friendly and helpful. I see Simona the PA and she is always wonderful! Takes my concerns seriously and makes sure I am informed of what is going on and the following steps. Even when she takes a sample it is painless and super quick. Highly recommended!

The PA, Simone, was very efficient as well as Hannah, the nurse. Explained procedure well. We needed to see Dr. Howard and his first appointment was in August. We were pleasantly surprised when the office called and said they had a cancelation in 2 weeks time. Much appreciated.

What a terrible experience with Doctor Brainard. I went there for my painful and long term perioral dermatitis that is a new condition for me. I've been having since September, been treating with over the counter medication since October/november. It HURTS and all she did was tell me to continue what I'm doing. Incredibly dismissive with a condition that is affecting my health and my comfortability. She did not tell me any new information or help. Don't bother coming here!! 0 stars should be an option.

I have never needed to have a cyst removed before. Even worse, the one I had was in my right arm pit. Dr. Howard was absolutely amazing! Not only did he keep me laughing, but his assistant did such a great job with the localized numbing that I didn’t even feel pressure as he worked, much less any pain or uncomfortable sensations. It was quick, clean & painless. I’m now 12 hrs. post-procedure & I still don’t have any pain or discomfort. My husband has seen Dr. Howard for cyst removals on his bald head, and he told me it would be a great experience. You know what? He was (actually) right! LOL! We both highly recommend Dr. Howard, his staff & colleagues at First Coast Mohs.
