Update: Following up on the response that they posted based off of this review. The first review where I explained in great detail my experience, they followed up with personal information, not protecting my privacy and breaking HIPAA regulations, stating for the safety of their staff and other patients, I was trespassed which I was not. I was not a safety issue nor a threat, I was in acute respiratory failure, hypoxic with autoimmune encephalitis with extensive injuries from my cervical spine down . I would be more than happy to share my original review and their original comments. Visited this urgent care recently and left disappointed. I paid $65 for what felt like very minimal care. The front desk staff member was extremely kind, and Aya (I believe) who took my intake and vitals, was also wonderful. Unfortunately, my experience with the NP (listed as Natalia on my work note) was not great. I came in with a fever and multiple symptoms, expecting basic testing (COVID, flu, strep), but none were performed, which was surprising for an urgent care setting. I was told my throat wasn’t really swollen, despite it clearly being inflamed and waking up to feeling my uvula on my tongue and talking strange. I was given an antibiotic, steroid shot, and a B12 shot—which wasn’t necessary and added an extra $35. After treatment, the NP returned to discuss their weight loss progr

This was one of the worst medical experiences I’ve ever had. I waited for hours and still wasn’t seen by a doctor. While waiting, patient said they were having chest pains and felt like they were about to pass out, yet the staff only gave them a tiny shot of water, barely enough for one sip. The student who did the “exam” didn’t even listen to their heart or look at their ears or throat, even though they clearly said those areas were hurting. The lack of concern and basic medical care was shocking. We were told all the rooms were full, yet doctors were sitting around chatting about their upcoming Carolinas vacation instead of helping patients. They charged me $250 to clear out my ears, which wasn't even part of the reason I came in. And that's after using my insurance... If I had known, I would have gone to Publix next door and bought the same $10 ear wax dissolver. They told me it might be more if they needed to run tests. They did not make it clear that cleaning my ears would charge me $150 as a test. When the doctor asked if I wanted to clear my ears, it seemed like a courtesy, not a medical need. When I told the front desk that they should be clear next time that cleaning out ear wax would make the cost $250 instead of $125 she said "well I told you if they do anything to you then it'll be the $250."

I have been coming to this place for a few years. There have been many young Techs that have been going to school to get great job experience at this office . Out of all the young people who have been kind and always positive and helpful, Mo Averey is the best! Again thank you so much .
