First Avenue Dental

I went to this location last year and the whole experience was traumatic. The dentist talked about politics the whole time during my visit and only stopped to tell me I had the worst case of broken teeth he's "ever seen". I went to another dentist and they were able to see that due to my bruxism, I would break my teeth while grinding them in my sleep. They assisted me in getting better while also sending me to a specialist to help with the more severe issues caused by my extreme teeth grinding. I would not recommend this dentist office to anyone. Even if they are in extreme pain like I was. They didn't help me with the pain I went in for, they only made it worse.

This is by far the best dental practice I have ever been to and would highly recommend them. They are upfront, caring, patient, and want what is best for you. They are compassionate to your needs and talk with you through everything they are about to do. I encourage you to give them a try as I know from my experience that you will not be disappointed 🙂

Amazing dentist who worked with my anxiety about getting my teeth fixed. Also did amazing with my 4 year old son, helped him stay calm and had a movie on for him. Did amazing explaining and walking my son through getting cavities fixed. My son stayed calm and was amazing, didn't complain once and wasn't scared at all. Very nice staff as well. Great at calling when they have openings sooner than appointment made.

Maybe if these people didn't send out judgmental, unprofessional emails saying you're a criminal for not talking to them in a year, I would say they're an ok clinic. But their desk people are often rude and look upset to be there. If you can get past these things, then I would recommend. Otherwise find a place that's more friendly and not bitter that you don't visit them as often as you visit your parents.

Threaten over the phone and the old man dentist there told me to “just be tough” when what he was doing was hurting me. Overall okay experience with everyone else though, I just wouldn’t recommend it at ALL.
