What can we say about Dr Azpurua? Well, obviously, he is an excellent cardiologist and surgeon…but on top of that, he is a kind, patient and caring person. He takes the time to listen to us and explains things to us in a way that we can fully understand. The care we have received from Dr Azpurua and his team has exceeded our expectations and we are grateful to have him as our doctor. ♥️

My husband suffered a heart attack in January 2025. Dr Azpurua was in charge of the catherization and placed a heart stent. We visited his office twice after the surgery and not once did they do an EKG or Echo. I asked for it without success. His bed manners could use some improvement, but especially the care to his patients. He is now with Dr. Changlani, and is another whole level of care, right away he ordered the echo and stress test, that of course can’t be compared to anything because Azpurua never thought it was necessary, and his staff hasn’t send his records to his new cardiologist. I don’t recommend him.

I don't know if this is the right place but I'm set to see an electrophysiologist (Dr. Khan) and they've changed my appointment over 4 times already. And once was without my consent or knowledge and I only knew because I so happened to call regarding my appointment and was also told they didn't have my medical records. Which my primary doctor had sent. I haven't even set foot in the building yet and already know they're so disorganized and careless here. Can't wait to see how terrible treatment I get once I finally do get to see the doctor. 🙄 IF I EVER DO! APPARENTLY THIS IS A COMMON OCCURRENCE IN THIS OFFICE. probably fraudulent if you ask me.

It is always a very positive experience at this office with Dr. Azpurua and his staff. Dr. is very caring and his staff is very informative.

One of the very best cardiologists in the valley! He’s skilled, but more importantly he listens and explains well.
