Fast Pace Health Urgent Care - Hickory, NC

My child went in with stomach pain and vomiting, after the general question assessment they didnt like the responses my child had to the mental health question. Even though my child is currently under active treatment for mental and was stated to the doctor that day. This doctor decito only focus on the mental health of my child not the reason they were being seen that say. At the end of the appointment the doctor didnt rest for any kind of virus or run any lab work, just said for my child to eat before the take there medicine in the mornings. The offered to give them more medicine to help with vomiting after my child stated several times during the appointment they do not want anymore medicine. I feel the doctor neglected the actual reason for the visit and made assumptions about my child

I’m writing this review because a business owner should know who they employ as their “face” and “voice”. With that being said, I made an appointment for yesterday morning (1/30/26) for my little daughter before I had to go in to work. We showed up at 7:50 am, only to see they didn’t open until 8 am, so we waited in the car until they “opened” (in the cold, because hello ice). We got out of the car to go inside and the receptionist opened the door and stood halfway out to tell us there was no provider present, so we couldn’t be seen. She literally opened the door and said, “We don’t have a provider to see you. We don’t know when one will be in.” I replied, mostly out of shock with, “you don’t know when a provider will be in? We made an appointment for this morning.” She proceeded to say,

I went with guarded optimism but left with very positive feelings. Both the clerical staff and the provider were supportive, caring and very professional. The provider (Rachel) took all the time necessary and she gave me her undivided attention. Highly recommend.

First time using FastPace the VA telehealth nurse advice was to get checked out and Fast Pace was close. Was greeted with, thank you for your service not once not twice but three times. The nurse was pleasant and the Doctor was very good asking and checking. So he also put an advisory statement for my VA primary care doctor. So I would recommend Fast Pace Urgent Care

So far i've been here 3 times in the past month or so. Not only was i treated with utmost respect but they were professional,caring and efficient with their testing and care. My daughter was seen here as well, she was taken care of peoperly and treated in a timely manner. Thanks again guys! For all my families emergency needs, fast pace health is where we will be going!! P.s we were in an out all 3 times in less than an hour....with 3 or more tests being run each time!!
