Fast Pace Health Urgent Care - Alabaster - AL

I came in 40 minutes before they closed due to a big splinter in my foot. I could tell the staff and the doc was tired but they still treated me exceptionally well, very courteous and professional. Due to me coming in so late they stayed 20 minutes after closing to take care of me and kept a smile on their face and had great attitudes. I have several urgent cares closer to me but I will drive an extra 30 minutes to go to them the next time I get hurt, which will be real soon since I'm so clumsy. Thank you again guys. My regular doctor's office was closed the day after Christmas so I tried Fast Pace. It was easy to schedule an appointment online before they opened. I had to sit in the waiting room for 35 minutes but once I was back in the exam room, the rest of the process was faster. Vital signs, assessment, and swabbing for flu and Covid went quickly. The nurse-practioner listened to me, was throrough, and efficient. My prescription was sent in to my local pharmacy making mybwait time there shorter. I will return here if the need arises.

Nice staff, I went on a Tuesday morning, with no appointment. Took an hour for me to do a screening( arrived 8:30 seen around 9:40ish), once I went back took less than 5 minutes to complete. No clue what they could do to facilitate front desk for efficiency. Amazing front desk, but I’m wondering if the techs/nurses in the back just work slower, or doing extensives checks earlier in the day

Everything was decent except I had been in there about an hour and still haven’t been called back. But this lady comes in for a drug screen and was only there 15 minutes and starts complaining about how long she had been sitting there and she had to get back to work. So they ended up calling her back in front of me and yet I’m out here being patient about to die with the flu. Other than that everything else was fine.

I got there about 30 minutes before closing time and they treated me just as well as if I had been the first patient. Receptionist and nurse were great and the nurse practitioner took the time to talk to me explain what she was going to do. Highly recommend this practice
