Family Pet Hospital

Dr Bockenstedt has taken care of our beloved dogs for many years. He saved my 14 year old King Charles Cavalier twice who suffers from a bad heart and arthritis. Now he runs around like a puppy. Dr Bockenstedt recently treated our Cavapoo who was sick and not eating, and she bounced right back. Dr Bockenstedt is kind, skilled, and compassionate. We would never settle for anyone but the best for our animals, and Dr Bockenstedt is the best.

I can't enough good. Their prices, their staff, their SURGEON! My dog had a cancerous tumor in his mouth. A complicated surgery thst other places passed up and wanted strictly radiation. This surgeon is amazing. He's knowledgable, honest, and trustworthy. He went uncomfortably into a surgery that had an outcome that could of gone a thousand ways. I am confident that because of him and his willingness that my pet had a chance, just a chance to live. I knew I could lose him but cancer was going to take him anyway. So the fact that he was able to remove it and I have my happy boy today. I can't thank you enough for taking the risk and giving him the chance. 5 stars, this staff is by far the best I've come across. Thank you❤️

Dr. Bockenstedt and Addie did a wonderful job helping me figure out what was wrong with our kitty. Dr. B was very thorough with his explanations and had a plan of action right away with medication and course of action at the office. Our cat is feeling MUCH better and we’re very grateful. This is where I plan to take her anytime she needs help.

We were first introduced to family pet hospital with our male cat Opie who had a urine blockage. Unfortunately he passed away from kidney failure as a result of the extra strain from the meds we got from family pet hospital. Then we brought in Mr Wrath who they insisted get vaccinated, he died an hour later from a reaction to the vaccine. We brought in a new kitty and didnt want vaccines due to mr wrath most recent death, and they berated and belittled us for making that choice. Now they refuse to see me without a late fee due to me being pulled over on the way to the appointment. It didnt matter I called them as soon as it happened and sat on hold for 3 minutes with them and the officer before hanging up and completing the warning I was receiving. Honestly I've never given a company so m

The staff was very friendly. They seemed like they cared a lot. However, they did nothing. Our dog was doing okay until they drew his blood. Shortly after he started having problems breathing and he was twitching. He died on the way home. He left worse than he came and the trip cost us $300. I think our dog would've been better off if we never went.
