I’ve had such a great experience at Family Orthodontic Care! Dr. Lowney is amazing — not only is she knowledgeable, but she’s also incredibly attentive and makes you feel comfortable every step of the way. Her entire staff is just as impressive! Super polite, professional, and always on top of the details. June is wonderful to work with during appointments, so kind and skilled — and Jim at the front desk is always warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Every visit runs smoothly and efficiently, and I really appreciate how quickly and effectively they get things done without ever making it feel rushed. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality orthodontic care in a welcoming environment!

I got Invisalign here and she filed my 1st bicuspid (28) too much (seems like she was in a trance), causing lasting pain and misalignment in bite, along with my naturally thinner enamel…. Straighter teeth, but at what cost? At least she listened when I INSISTED I wanted to keep my canine teeth pointed. It seems that they simply want to sell Invisalign. If you do decide to get Invisalign, do NOT get the Invisalign style retainer, ask for the classic style retainer. The Invisalign style retainer also messed up my bite, and cracked very easily. Now I don’t want to wear it at all. Quite sad about this, really.

They provide an impressively thorough evaluation for braces for my son. Another practice in Norwich was not nearly as thorough. The other practice said put braces in, yet this one said don't do it at this point. The other had a pretty generic reply about why braces were needed, well this one was clearer and more tailored to the specifics of my son when explaining why braces at this point would not make sense. This reminds me of how I once had a dentist who would do fillings for even the slightest cavity, well the new dentist who have now seen for many years does not do nearly as many fillings with the same or greater levels of cavity.

I've had great results on my ortho treatment

I’ve been going to Family Orthodontic Care since 2015 and they are the sweetest people. They’re extremely efficient and knowledgeable about everything ortho. I had braces on for 4 years and am still going back for retainer checks. My teeth are now extremely straight and healthy looking thanks to them.
