Family of Caring at Ridgewood

My mom is currently at Family of Caring in Ridgewood, NJ, and we have had a wonderful experience. The staff are very kind and welcoming. The nurses are knowledgeable and provide excellent care, and her CNA is extremely helpful and attentive. The rehab team has truly helped her regain her balance and ability to walk again, which has meant so much to our family. Everyone in the facility is supportive, caring, and always willing to help. The administrator is very kind and approachable, and it is easy to reach her whenever there are questions or concerns. We would definitely recommend Family of Caring Ridgewood to others.

I went to FOC Ridgewood, NJ for rehabilitation, and I can’t express how happy I am with the service. My nurses—Sam (AM nurse), Maria B. (PM nurse), and Kumar (overnight nurse)—are very passionate, knowledgeable, and professional. They answered all of my questions and explained everything clearly, which made me feel comfortable and well cared for. The CNAs—Kama, Ronald, Carla, and Betty—were very caring and took excellent care of me throughout my stay. Administrator Robin was extremely accommodating and always approachable. Her support and willingness to listen made a positive difference in my overall experience. Overall, I am very happy and satisfied with the services provided. The entire nursing department is excellent.

Mom has been there for two months and has had a very positive experience. The PT, OT, nurses, aides and social workers are all very positive and professional. She even likes the food. Ive been to two other rehab places with my parents over the past few years and I can honestly say the people at Family of Caring truly care.

Family Of Caring at Ridgewood is the best subacute rehab facility imaginable. I spent nine days at the facility in November. I was impressed with the overall quality of care that I received. Stating the administrator, Robin, the assistant administrator, Matthew, all my concerns were addressed and provided for. I received wonderful nursing care from Michelle and Nelly. I was treated for caring and respect from everyone. The Certified Nurses Aides were incredible, especially Beatrice, Wana, Bridget and Sabrina. I will always be forever grateful “Dr G” for getting my pain management properly treated and for Mary Lou my physical therapist. Family of Caring Ridgewood is the best rehab/nursing home I have encountered in my life. I have now talked to three different families there who have all said the same thing. Some of them, like us, tried other nursing homes/rehab clinics first and are extremely glad they moved their family member to Family of Caring. The quality of care and supervision is just superb. They have amazing staff who bend over backwards to take care of their patients and try to make each and every patient’s stay as pleasant as possible. Inpatient rehab facilities (like physical, occupational, and speech therapy) are provided by extremely qualified specialists, and it is amazing to see how much care they put into improving the quality of our loved one’s life.
