Family Medicine Physicians

My father is currently a patient of Dr. Smitty. Despite my father clearly requesting that the doctor speak with me regarding his care, the doctor repeatedly refused to call me and even told my father, “There’s nothing I’m telling you that I need to tell your daughter.” This dismissive attitude created unnecessary stress and made it nearly impossible to understand my father’s care plan. No family should have to fight for basic communication from their loved one’s physician. Especially when your loved one has no understanding what’s even happening to them. Update as of 12/15/25 After posting my previous review, the provider did call my father; however, the conversation focused on the review rather than his medical care. During that call, he referred to me as a “keyboard warrior” and stated

I have used Dr. Walker since I moved back home in 1992. The staff over the years have been very nice & polite. I have never been treated like some of these people are saying. Now that Dr. Walker is no longer there I am still going although I know a lot of people will miss him. But some people are never satisfied no matter what happens. I have seen the other two Doctors at least once and was always treated with respect & pleased with their diagnosis. Now I have seen both Nurse Practitioners & really like then.

I was so impressed with this facility! From the front desk till I was going out of the door. I love that you can do your patient info from your phone. Kayla took me back and was super nice and helpful and made me feel super comfortable.I did have to have labs and though I cannot remember her name the lady was fabulous!! And I just love their nurse practitioner Mrs. Maggie Smith!! She made sure to get to the bottom of what I had going on and I greatly appreciate that she handled my health with such sincere care! If you are looking for a family health care provider this is the place!! Everyone is great!

Front desk at this clinic is a nightmare. These people are rude for literally no reason. If you call to schedule or ask questions they act bothered and will give you an attitude. It’s a shame because the doctor I’ve seen here is wonderful but I wouldn’t give this place my business due to the horrible service at the front. I don’t understand people who take a front desk job then get mad when they have to do the job.

I highly recommend their team as a whole I felt so comfortable and very well taken care of. Maggie is the best all around the board and Jada really bring a ray of sunshine to your visit. Keep up the good work team!!
