Family Foot Care

I made my son an appointment at the Concord location because he and I both had been there before. My son took off work to go to this appointment. AFTER he arrived and filled out of the information, they told him that they had been bought out by another company this week and no longer accept our insurance. I was furious. He used his time off work to go to this appointment. They should have called to verify insurance before his appointment. They took our insurance the last time we went. We had no clue they had been bought out until he arrived at the appointment! This is no way doing business.

The morning after I wrote this review Dr. McDonald called me personally himself and apologized. He offered to make me new inserts or refund my money. I asked for new inserts and the ones he made are much better. I appreciate him doing so. I went to see Dr. McDonald because my neighbor talked me into it. She had some great custom made shoe inserts. I have been suffering from foot pain for at least 3 years. I cannot wear hard inserts so I specifically asked for some soft ones. He informed me that Medicare would not pay for them and said the cost would be $300.00 I paid for them and when I went to pick them up I knew right away they were not going to work because they were still hard at the arch. I informed the nurse and she said try them first and if they did not work I could come back and

I have ingrown toe nails and I’m trying to find someone to treat them in the area. Requested an appointment online through the chat bot on their website and was told I would get a call. Nobody ever called me. This was probably 2 weeks ago. They either don’t want my business or have a broken website and contact system.

Employees do not know how to handle on line appointment requests. I tried twice. 1st time I wound up calling them after my request went days without a response. This time they did call me 5 days later. I asked employee if my message was received Monday, yes, & finally called me Friday. I mentioned that to employee & she stated they were too busy to get back to me. No apology just defensive behavior & excuses. This is unacceptable. Either hire enough employees to man the online requests or get rid of it because by my experiences that shows they can't handle online appointment requests. I will be leaving this practice after many years as I cannot depend on them.

My son is a patient at this facility, and I’ve had two concerning experiences during check-in at the front desk. On both occasions, I was met with what felt like suspicion and reluctance to assist me by a staff member—a young Caucasian woman with a black bob haircut. Her behavior made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I believe all patients and their families deserve to be treated with respect and professionalism, and I hope this matter is addressed to ensure a more inclusive and supportive environment. On a better note, Dr. McDonald was very pleasant.
