Family First Adult Family Homes

After extensive research and pavement pounding I decided the best place for my loved one was at a Family First home and I’ve been extremely pleased with that decision. The owners and caregivers treat my loved one like family by providing kind, compassionate and attentive care. The staff is very friendly and hands-on to insure his happiness and contentment. His needs are always promptly addressed and tended to. The house is clean, safe, and welcoming, with a “real home” vibe. The staff and owners are very approachable and keep me well informed.

Julie, Chris and the team at Family First, They are amazing people and awesome community members for the Gig Harbor Peninsula area. Not only do they provide an amazing family service they are highly involved in the business community helping other businesses and community members. I trust them wholeheartedly!

You might be tasked with one of the most difficult and emotional decisions of your life. That decision is where to place a loved one for 24-hour care and in our case, end of life support. I would ask you to visit the Family First office and meet the owners and marketing director to have a better understanding of who and what they represent. Visit one of their beautiful homes nestled in the woods, talk to the staff and see firsthand the care involved. Do this and I believe you will understand why they are so highly rated. My mom just passed and I am grateful that I was able to spend the last few days of her life with her. I'm writing this review in hopes that other people don't have to go through what I did at Family First. My mom was sick when we got there. She had covid and the hospital did not want her there anymore. She wasn't contagious anymore. My mom needed help to shower. I was told she would get them several times when she did not. It was disappointing to watch the staff come and go, day after day and never give her a shower. I was told they were short of staff but it seemed like they just did not want to do it.
