Family Dental Care of Wilmington

I've always feared having dental care ever since I was a teenager. I didn't know that my provider had retired and that the practice was sold. I meet with Dr Simpson on Wednesday due to a dental ER. Both him and his assistant ere so compassionate about my concerns making me feel so comfortable.

I am not a fan of going to the dentist at all!! But my hygienist, Florence, makes my trip so much easier for me. She’s so patient, kind, and pays attention to issues. Love love love her!! The ladies in the front are always so kind as well. I haven't had much interaction with the new dentist yet. So I will hold off commenting on him for now. Overall, this is a great dental office and I highly recommend them!!

I don't have much experience with the dentists but the little I do they seemed nice. I think they are retiring soon. I will leave 5 stars for the woman who cleans my teeth, Michelle. She is spectacular; kind, very intuitive with pain management and very thorough. My teeth are grateful.

Had a root canal recently. All my questions were answered professionally with care and compassion. I’ve had root canals before and I would rate this experience as a 10 out of 10. I had no pain during the procedure and though expected pain later when I returned home, I had none!! I didn’t have to take any meds and that was a big plus for me.

Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Lindsey, my hygienist had to do a lot of checking and X-rays because it was my first visit. She was gentle and thorough and explained everything to me when she was done. Dr. Simpson went over my dental issues and what my follow up visit would entail. Very pleased.
