Family Care Rx Pharmacy

I called this morning about a prescription I had sent to your pharmacy and when it would be available to me, and the employee who answered immediately started the call with a rude and unpleasant tone. She gave very short and snappy answers to the questions I had when I politely expressed my concerns and inquiries, and at the end of the short interaction the woman hung up very abruptly without any goodbye. I felt a lack of basic customer service from your employee and an extremely unnecessarily unpleasant attitude for no reason.

The real problem is with the two new people they hired — Lisette and the other pharmacist. Honestly, they just don’t seem to know what they’re doing. I’m constantly being told I’m not ready to fill my prescription when I am, or they don’t even bother to order it on time. When Carlene was handling things, I never had any issues. She was always on top of everything, and you could tell she actually cared. It’s frustrating because there was never a problem before, and now it feels like a constant headache every month. To be honest, I really think the owner made a mistake bringing these two on. It’s not just small mistakes — it’s a real drop in the level of service, and it’s starting to show.

They get 5 stars. They are friendly and will have your prescriptions ready in a few minutes even if you walked them in. You don't have to wait or come back the next day. The only recommendation I have is if your prescription is expensive, call and make sure they take your insurance. They don't take many in my experience.

I have been going to this pharmacy for more than 7 years. I liked the idea of supporting a local family owned business. I used to be able to get my prescriptions filled while I waited if I dropped it off or within 30 to 60 minutes if my doctor called one in. That was another reason I liked this pharmacy. Now it takes forever to have my prescriptions filled. I waited 1 and 1/2 hours to get one prescription filled. Also, when I call to get prescriptions filled and leave it on the automated system, they are not filled until near the end of the day and on more than one occasion if I need more than one filled one or more are missed. The Pharmacist and ALL of the Staff are AMAZING. They treat you like family unlike the major chains (CVs,Publix,Walgreens). They are very nice and they will call you and explain any questions you have in such a non judge mental way. I would HIGHLY recommend getting your medication with these people they make it such an amazing experience!
