Falmouth Hospital

My husband spent 15 days in the Emergency Department and the care was excellent. Every single member of the staff was intelligent, caring, devoted to their patients, open-minded and they communicated with me every step of the way and answered all my questions patiently. I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone could be dissatisfied with the care there unless their expectations were completely unreasonable. The fact is that every staff member is over worked and their case loads are ridiculous. But, despite this fact, we still got 5-star treatment. Oh, and every single hospital employee loves their jobs. It's become very hard to recruit health care professionals because Cape Cod is a very expensive place to live, so hospitals here are losing the best and the brightest to place

As a visitor, I was very impressed with Falmouth Hospital. The staff was courteous, helpful, and respectful at all times. The facility was clean, well maintained, and easy to navigate. I appreciated how compassionate and attentive the staff was toward patients and their families, which made a stressful situation feel much more manageable. It’s clear they truly care about the people they serve.

I have had two total knee replacements in the past 6 months at Falmouth Hospital. From check in to pre-op, surgery and post-op care every person was a consumate professional, kind and caring. It was as pleasant as a surgery experience could be.

I would never again step foot in the doors of CCHC facilities. My PCP was (Unknowingly) owned by Falmouth Hospital, (yes, I am aware of association, however not ownership) this practice is commonly referred to as “Hospital steering”. They sent me for an MRI when it is known and a fact that the MRI was five times the cost than if I had gone to Shields MRI, outside of the hospital. No one gave me an option, no one advised, I called my insurance company 3 times prior to my appt to get a basic cost estimate and was given the price of 1/5 of what it came out to be. I have asked the hospital to drop the fee to what it would have been at an outpatient separately owned clinic and I was referred to a woman “Patient Advocate” who took an hour to tell me how delusional I was, this was after I had cal

My Doctor sent me to the hospital to pickup a urine sample container. I was instructed by a very rude woman @ the front desk to sign in & it would be at least 40 minutes. I said all I need is an empty container. She just brushed me off. I was totally taken back by her attitude. Needless to say I left & will be reaching out to the foundation.
