Fairfield Urgent Care Center - Yale New Haven Health

WORST SHADY BILLING PRACTICE!!! They claim to be Urgent Care and the sign says Urgent Care, but when they bill you it says Emergency Room visit. When you try to fight the charge, they claim it is in the fine print before you sign, if I needed an ER, I would have gone there! No one reads the fine print when they are sick or in pain, these people are taking advantage of sick people and they are scammers!! Don't get me wrong, Dr. are excellent!If I could give them 0 stars, I would! No, they do not verbally tell you that you could potentially be billed as ER!

Rude front desk staff and ridiculously long wait times. Checked in for a simple sick visit, the receptionist was short and dismissive when I asked about the delay. Ended up waiting over 2 hours when they said it'd be 30-45 minutes. Never coming back—go somewhere that actually values your time!

Shady Financial practices, will present themselves as an urgent care but charge as emergency room. Doctors were good but being charged 5x the amount because they chose to put it in the system as emergency room is horrible.

The facility operates as an extension of Bridgeport Hospital’s emergency room and may charge $90 to $500 for a doctor’s consultation. Unfortunately, they were unable to confirm if my insurance would cover any part of the cost before I was required to sign my name stating that I would pay all bills, no matter what happens or what it costs. I left.

Best walk-in clinic! Fast attended, very attentive doctors and nurses, and the receptionists were super friendly.
