Eyes on Canal

Dr. Monique Jackson is a fantastic eye doctor, probably the best I’ve ever had. Unfortunately the optician that works here is unhelpful and rude. I’ve ordered glasses here twice and both times have had extensive problems with them. The optician is incredibly dismissive and unpleasant to deal with. My glasses were damaged and were severely limiting my vision. I was told by Dr. Jackson to come in person when I ordered my glasses to make sure there were no issues. I did and was told by the optician that “they weren’t taking glasses orders at this time.” I told her I was having a “glasses emergency” and she rudely asked “what is a glasses emergency?” I explained that the doctor told me to come in to order. She begrudgingly took my glasses order but said she couldn’t put in the order as it was

Couldn’t find any eye place that accepts my insurance They did. There was a waitlist but as promised I got a call back when someone canceled. Appt went well. Nice staff. All with smiles. Had a great selection of glasses frames. And everyone was super sweet. Easy process.

I absolutely love the doctor, my son has been going to her for years, The staff is usually so nice and friendly, and just a joy to be around. On our recent visit they were all gone, and the ladies who replaced them... are nothing like the former staff. Not warm, or welcoming, and the person who usually adjust the glasses, and help choose frames that go with the lenses didn't do any of that... I would go so far as to say, she seemed like she didn't wanna even touch him. This is the first time, I ever felt looked over or disappointed with them. ( Not yhe dark haired lady in the front, she was honestly pretty nice).

I brought my daughter who is 2 years old to Eyes On Canal and Dr.Jackson and her staff were very patient with her. Dr. Jackson made my daughter feel safe and comfortable during the eye exam. I also received my daughter’s glasses a lot faster than I expected. I definitely recommend eyes on canal to everyone especially children.

Best eye exam I ever had! Dr Jackson is so knowledgeable. I went to her before I started medical treatment to get a baseline of my eye health and she was able to treat me for every little thing. If you want attention to detail don’t hesitate- make the appointment
