Eyes of the Southwest

My mother drove down from Alamogordo and was quite disappointed. No respect for patient time. Appointment times are mere suggestions. Made an appointment with an ophthalmologist but got bait and switched to an optometrist. More about making money than caring for patients.

The staff acts like it's a nuisance you're even there, constantly running behind. My doctor was running so far behind, another doctor took me. Hernandez was rude, touched me and commented on parts of my body that were NOT my eyes. When I told the staff I wanted to follow-up with the doctor I was supposed to see, they ghosted me. Still having issues, will have to find another clinic. Useless.

Was there Friday Nov 14. Excellent service. Checked in ,eyes dilated ,etc saw Dr Nubold etc and checked out. Total time for all that 1.5hr. All personnel were kind patient and very helpful. Was impressed. Will be going back next year .

I was there for over 3 hours, got moved from one room to another multiple times with some assistant staff. Final saw the doctor for less than 2 minutes and he did a very quick exam and did not offer question/answer. Even I was there for hours, most of the time was just moving from one waiting area to another. All the exams were done in a rush, when I was asking to look at the charts and responses, they didn’t allow enough time for my eye to focus and read.The prescription they gave me was way off. I finally went to see a different doctor and paid out of my own pocke. I will not go back

The doctors here are great. I would give a 5 star review if it weren’t for the fact that it is virtuallly impossible to get through by phone. If you do manage to get someone to answer, they put you on hold and never come back. I have waited up to 20 minutes. If you hang up and call back, you go directly in hold without anyone answering. So frustrating!
