ExpressCare Urgent Care Center - Northwest

My nurse was the most amazing nurse I've had in a while. She was very pleasant and nice she showed the most compassion for my health and her mannerism towards me as a patient was very humble and kind, and I hope that she gets the recognition that she deserves as a nurse her bedside manners was a 10 out of 10. My doctor was also very pleasant and kind, and also showed compassion towards me as a patient. He took the time to speak with me and educate me on what was going on with my health. He did not try to rush through and just rush me out I think him for his compassion and his knowledge and his humbleness. I give my doctor that I seen a 10 out of a 10.

I visited this location yesterday around 8:30 PM while feeling extremely ill with what turned out to be Strep throat. Unfortunately, the level of care was deeply disappointing. ​From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff and M.A. were openly complaining in front of patients about not being able to leave on time because people were still waiting to be seen. This created a very unwelcoming and tense environment. ​This attitude continued with the provider, who was brash and clearly rushing to finish her shift. When I asked questions for clarification—which I felt were necessary given my symptoms and a concerningly high blood pressure reading she became visibly annoyed. I was then asked if I needed any paperwork regarding work and even despite saying no I do not need paper work for work.

I usually never have a problem at this location. However I went in around 7:30pm for some lower/mid back pain and a slight headache after a car accident earlier in the day. The registrar up front was nice but she told me I can’t be seen because my insurance adjuster didn’t answer the phone? I even provided the claim number so they could follow up the next morning but was still refused care. She told me that’s not how the policy works, and as some who works for Lifebridge and in the hospital realm for 16 years, it just felt off to me to be refused if you’re hurting over policy. What if something was really wrong aside from just pain? I also cannot drive my car so an extra expense was required to come there and back home. I made an appt for 10:10 a.m. & didn't get called back til 10:40 a.m. I went to the front desk and mentioned my appt & asked how long was it going to be, the lady at the desk had the nerve to say "yeah you can make reservations but they aren't guaranteed at that time" When I checked in there were only 2 other people in the waiting room & 3 names in the queue (including ours). Someone walked in & was seen before us. For all that they might as well do walk-ins only! The appt was less than 20 minutes which is crazy bc we waited longer to be seen.

My son and I went to get checked. We were literally waiting all of 5 mins before being called. Our nurse was welcoming, made us feel comfortable, and funny. Who doesn't want to laugh when they aren't feeling their best. I apologize I forgot her name. Dr. A came in very attentive, upfront, and also funny. Amazing medical team!
