I highly recommend Exeter Animal Hospital. The veterinarians and staff are incredibly caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable. They truly take the time to explain things and make you feel comfortable with the care your pet is receiving. It’s clear they genuinely care about the animals and their families, which makes a difficult situation much easier.

I have been using this vet for years today when I took my dog in to be neutered after being quoted $380, and when I arrived to pick him up I was shocked to find out they had pulled FOUR of his teeth without my permission. I was never called, never asked, never informed during the procedure. Then they handed me a bill for $500. It’s not even about the money — it’s the principle. My dog is only 7 months old, and any additional procedure should have absolutely required my authorization. It would’ve been nice — and frankly expected — to be asked or at least notified before doing something like that. Very reasonably priced. Was a bit worried about the dog I walk for an 83 year old lady. Actually thought he was dead when I went to help her to the vet's. He hadn't eaten, gone to the bathroom for 2 or 3 days. Although the gums had good color, he could barely move. After an injection for a fever, later that evening, he came out for the owner, wanting to eat. Whew. Thank God! Came to walk him the following week - you'd never know anything happened. He was walking fine, we went around the block like it was nothing. Even wanted to mix it up with the dog walking across the street - lol. Glad you're feeling better Bud!
