Exer Urgent Care - Covina

I’ve been here before for myself and the experience was good. However, today it exceeded my expectations. I walked in with my child at 6:58 when they close at 8. There were 7 people ahead of me and it took about an hour to get seen, which is understandable. Once we got in, the medical assistant/nurse was so amazing. Gentle and kind with my child. He was attentive and thorough and didn’t rush us even though we were past their closing time. The PA/NP was also very polite and explained everything well. We were done at around 8:40, so I am so very thankful to them for staying late. I would highly recommend this location to anyone!

Long wait no triage many people moving slowly We were told to best go to an emergency room rather than Exer give care. What a waste of 3 hours. one bright spot was a young man at the counter who was very willing to help us with admit and information. Excellent service care and kind consideration for our situation.

The provider who saw me NP Vu, was caring, listened to my problem, and provided great recommendations. But most importantly to me, this urgent care gives injectables if needed. Therefore, I will keep coming and recommend people I know because currently not all urgent care or primary care providers offer injectables. So, for me this is amazing. I didn't even ask for the injection it was offered and that speaks highly of that provider because priority was helping me get better. 🫶🏼

Wow! Based on other reviews i thought making an appointment mattered, I have been waiting now for 2hrs and 15 mins (still counting) and still have not seen a Doctor. Not one person has followed up, I asked one of the nurses an appropriate timeframe to be seen that was met with a tone. Unfortunate. I rated two starts merely because we have not seen the doctor, and other patients that have NOT made an appointment are being seen faster, so moral of the story…. An appointment is not needed.

I rushed over to urgent care on Rowland, 2/7/26, they were quick and on point. The doctor was very attentive and so was his male nurse. The doctor ordered immediate treatment and sent prescriptions to pharmacy. Great job!
