Matt Messner at Evolution PT was incredible in helping me recover from a labrum tear. His knowledge, encouragement, and personalized approach got me safely back to running, biking, and exercising again. Every session had a purpose, and I always felt confident in the plan. I’ve been to several physical therapy facilities for my ACL surgery rehab, but none compared to the care I received from Matt Messner. After three ACL surgeries, I didn’t think a return to sport was possible, but Matt helped me rebuild both my strength and confidence. I cannot say enough great things about my experience at Evolution Fitness - Physical Therapy. I worked with Matt Messner over the course of a few months to rehab from a running injury that left me feeling like I would never be able to go back to the sport in the same way again. Every time I walked in the doors Matt had a newly tailored routine for me and I left feeling so strong every time. He had exercises prepared that would not only strength the area that I had injured, but prepare me to go back to the sport even stronger. Matt created a back to running program for me to implement on the days that I wasn’t in PT and we checked in weekly to progress further. I’ve had issues with several different physical therapy places at various times in my life. After my most recent injury, I finally found Evolution through my doctor’s recommendation. Matt is very knowledgeable and kind. He takes the time to explain things to me when I ask questions about certain treatments or movements. Plus, Matt and the rest of the staff were able to get my insurance to approve visits, which was amazing. If you’re looking for great one-on-one care, this is the place!

My experience working with Matt Messner was overwhelmingly positive. I had multiple injuries this year that required PT and Matt helped me get back to my normal routine. When multiple doctors couldn’t figure out what was going on, it was Matt’s insights that helped fix the problems. The thing that impressed me most was how dynamic the sessions were - if I’m hurting or can’t do something, Matt will change the exercise on the spot to make sure I’m comfortable. On a personal note, he’s just a good guy and great conversationalist. Although I’m not looking forward to my next injury, when it inevitably happens, I’m looking forward to working with Matt again.
