EveryStep Hospice

My dad entered in-home hospice with EveryStep in October 2024. They came alongside our family to support and guide us in helping my dad remain at home where he was most comfortable. Every member of their staff was so loving and respectful. They were there for any questions we had or changes my dad was experiencing. They truly helped my dad die with the dignity he deserved. Thank you!

Our 94yr.old Mom always told us she didn't want to go to a nursing home in the end as long as we could take care of her in her own home. She had dementia and our 97yr.old Dad along with us kids looked after her until she became weak only 6 days before she passed. I knew there'd come a time when we may need extra help and ones who had professional advice. I called her Dr.and asked about EveryStep Hospice in Mt.Ayr IA, in which she immediately contacted. That afternoon I received a call from the nurse at EveryStep and she was so informative, compassionate and helpful. A couple days later they arranged to send a nurse to explain exactly what they'd do to help us out. Nurse John was so kind, caring, knowledgeable and compassionate and reassured us they were definitely going to be there for Mom

The care was absolutely amazing! They were always asking if there was anything we needed. They cared for the family as well as taking care of our dad. We couldn’t asked for better care and there main goal was to make sure my dad and our family was comfortable and made it easier going through it. We wouldn’t have wanted any other care in that situation and truly made our experience so much better. Always will be thankful for that and never will forget our experience with Every Step Hospice!

My husband was in EveryStep hospice for 8 months. Everyone that came to our home was kind, compassionate and respective throughout this time of need. We were at our lowest and they educated and emotionally supported my husband and our family. They each brought a caring light into our home with each visit. My husband looked forward to seeing them. They made his journey to heaven peaceful, calm and pain free. Forever thankful

They were wonderful with my dad. Provided great physical care, education, and spiritual care! We did have one issue of I believe miscommunication between the CNA and my dad (grumpy old man!) unfortunately they called my mother (who has dementia) instead of my sister. This could have been handled differently, but overall a great experience and I would highly recommend their hospice services
