I chose to ignore the other reviews for Dr Chung because she was one of only 2 available rheumatologists. I wish I had never scheduled. I waited 3 months for this appointment, only for her to dismiss my decade of symptoms as aches and pains or being “obese”. Don’t visit this doctor if you want to be respected, believed, or cared for.

Terrible Experience with Dr. Chung. She spent about 10 minutes with me. There was no pre appointment questionnaire. She didn’t examine me. She didn’t even let me tell her all my symptoms. She didn’t not order anymore tests. I am desperate for some answers because whatever this condition is, it is destroying my life. The pain and fatigue are debilitating. I also have evidence of multiple organ involvement . I waited so long for the appointment just to be dismissed. Don’t waste your time or your money on this Dr.

The worse. Very dismissive, doesn’t care about your symptoms or why you’re there. Doesn’t examine you, just says she will order test in 6 months to see if they’ve changed. She doesn’t believe anyone has anything. She’s literally paid to come in the room, verify who you are, tell you there’s nothing wrong with you, and she’ll run blood work in 6 months because she doesn’t believe the prior blood work you had done is valid. You ask for blood work then, because you’re in the worst pain, fatigue and sickness in your life and she says no. She basically wants my blood work when i’m NOT flaring to detect an autoimmune condition. She’s also not up to date with anything in her field. She seems to not have studied nor read peer views since she graduated school! Waited for the appointment and was a c

Dismissive provider. Do NOT waste your time. All she is there to do is order labs and not use her actual brain to treat people. Needs a different profession.

The office visit was a waste of my time and apparently to the dr as well, since she clearly did not want to be there. She said maybe 3 sentences to me and they were not pertaining to my condition. No exam was performed or pretense of one. She did not want to see my lab work for which my primary physician referred me to her for. She offered no solutions or options for my health issues. I was shocked that a "professional" physician would conduct themselves in this manner. I went back to my primary and we are starting a new search for a competent doctor. I can not recommend this physician at all.
