Eugene Eye Clinic provided just the greatest experience I have had in a medical office. The entire team is superb, caring and helpful. From the time you meet the receptionist to the time you are back in your car, you feel like you have been seen, listened to and cared for by truly genuine people. The Technician who worked with me Brian was absolutely amazing. He was friendly, thorough and calming. I felt like I had made a friend. I knew I was in good hands and he bent over backwards to do his job with enthusiasm and expertise. Dr. Gross was nothing less than an angel. He swooped in and with masterful precision evaluated my torn retina (hole included!) and patiently explained what was happening and the solution. Before I walked out of the examination room, they had made an appointm

Very impressed with level of communication throughout the entire cataract process answering my questions. Dr Hross was able to accomplish what others I consulted could not. I have astigmatism, plus previous lasik surgery. They told me I would lose either my farsided or nearsided vision and would need glasses afterwards. Dr Gross was able to correct my vision so I am still able see close up and drive without glasses.

His surgery center is an assembly line. He never spoke to me prior to procedure. He has staff put drops in eye and cover eye with medical tape and then tear the tape off every five minutes to reapply drops. This was unnecessarily painful and ripped the top layers of skin off around my eye. After surgery, he does not follow up with patients. He schedules you to see his optometrist instead of seeing him, the surgeon. If you try to make an appointment with him, his staff will not allow it. When I finally got in to see him, he was defensive. My vision was not improved with the procedure. In fact, it was worse. Yes, surgery is not always perfectly successful. I know that. But when I told him my vision was worse than before, he said, “I doubt that.” He was very defensive and blaming. This was on

Dr. Reynolds was totally rude, dismissive, disrespectful, passive aggressive, self righteous, ignorant, salty, crude, and judgmental. He refused to listen to symptoms. Interrupted me when I was trying to talk and he didn’t let me explain things. He told me that I wasn’t hurting when I was. He told me I was fine when I wasn’t. If I could give him negative stars I would. This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at an optometrists office.

I developed bilateral cataracts and quite a young age, (as cataracts go) I was in my 30s. About a decade past before I decided to visit Dr. Gross and I'm sure glad that I did. We decided that my right eye was in need of the more immediate attention and in 2016 I underwent the procedure. He saved my vision and words cannot express my gratitude for what he did for me. By early this year I had lost nearly all vision in the eye that we decided could wait. It was my fault really, I'm not much for seeing doctors even in the most pressing of circumstances. Again I had lost nearly all of my sight in my left eye by the time I decided to call. The operation was Tuesday, and I'm writing this on Friday night. Without the aid of my glasses My eyesight is nearly prefect in both eyes. Dr. Gross and his
