Nurse Practitioner Rachel, is truly amazing at her job! She has taken care of my daughter for many years…… always taking as much time as needed (we never feel rushed) with my daughter. Thank you so much! Essex Pediatrics is lucky to have Rachel on their team!

Outstanding practice. They are caring and always available. Amazingly, they respond within 1-2 hours to portal measages. Several times I’ve contacted them on a health issue by phone or portal for one of my kiddos and get a prompt and valuable response. We switched from another practice, couldn’t be happier. I am impressed with Dr. Hale’s level-headed, pragmatic style of pediatric care.

Dr Hale is awesome, as is the rest of the staff. Nursing there is great, ready to answer questions, and if they don't know off hand, they ask. If my daycare wants to send my son home due to rash or whatever, they will see him the same day so that he can be cleared to go back. Nutritional counseling, behavioral counseling, they have it all. Couldn't ask for a better pediatrics office!

Their compassion and attentiveness is unheard of these days. All clinicians at this office are amazing; there is not one that my son does not love. They always take their time, answer all questions and are available around the clock. They have never once made me feel like they were inconvenienced when I've had to call "after hours" for a sick kiddo. They are truly there to help and go above and beyond for their patients. I cannot sing praises enough!

This practice has its pros and cons. A big pro for me is their 24/7 availability if my kid is sick, although I do think that's most places. They also provided free postpartum doula support while I was postpartum, and I don't know any other practices around that offer that! I commend them for being so forward on that front! However, I was disappointed that I was not told about vitamin D supplementation for my newborn until I asked about it, despite it being recommended for all newborns. They wouldnt let me breastfeed my baby while he was getting vaccinated because they were "afraid theyd poke me," but every mom I talk to says their pediatrician's office allows them to do that even with older, squirmier babies and toddlers.
