Essentia Health-Hayward Pharmacy

Generally OK. I liked it much better when Wayne was the pharmacist. He really cared. Gunner is good. I do hate to hear how poor the pharmacy is and how they can't order meds ahead of time 'cause what if I don't pick it up. I don't feel it is my job to tell the pharmacy when to order meds. However they seem to think this is the only way. Check out my own groceries, put up my own cart, call and tell the pharmacy that yes indeed in one month I need another refill.

The pharmacists are all so nice. I'm not going to talk bad about other pharmaceutical dispensers in Hayward but Essentia pharmacy staff treats everyone cordially and really seem to love their jobs. There were times when a patient has a question and the pharmacists took their time thoroughly explaining the medication, what's it used for, and any other questions they may have. I will go as far to say best pharmacy I've ever been to, ever.

Steve, Gay, Cheryl, Jodi, and all the rest of the pharmacy staff are all SO helpful, courteous, and go over, and above to help you with your prescriptions! I feel very comfortable and safe, having them filling my prescriptions. In 10 years, I have never had a problem of any kind! GOOD JOB to all of you!! You are all very appreciated!!!

One word can sum up this place... INCOMPETENT 1. not having or showing the necessary skills to do something successfully. After they created a outstanding bill for only a few standard checkup visits, I hand-delivered my health insurance information. A month or so went by and I would still not only get bills in the mail (unchanged) but phone calls and then voice mails. Even though after displaying & providing all the necessary paper work for my health insurance coverage.

Best Pharmacy in Town, Hands Down. Go to Walmart or Walgreens if you want to wait an extra two days for your medication.
