1 Star Avoid this location at all costs. I’ve been with Esse Health for years and always received respectful, quality care—until I was transferred to this office after my previous doctor left. What I experienced here was completely unprofessional, demeaning, and unacceptable. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff treated me with attitude and condescension. When I handed over my insurance cards, I was met with an eye roll and a scoff, as if I was inconveniencing them by simply following instructions. I was stunned—this was my first time at this location, and I was already being talked down to and disrespected. Dr. Adams is knowledgeable, compassionate and spends all the time you need with you. If he can't answer your questions he will find the answer or find someone who has the answer. I hope to have him for my doctor for a long time.

The staff and Dr Maylack are great! Dr Maylack always takes the time to really talk to you and listens to any issues. I never feel rushed when discussing things. All of the staff from the front desk, the assistants and even the ladies doing the blood work are so nice and attentive! I'll also add that I have never had blood work done anywhere where I was as comfortable as I am at this office! Also I don't even feel a thing when they're doing it which is a plus!

If you take any sort of time-sensitive medication, find a doctor that doesn't work here. My doctor herself is great, but the office staff can't even manage something as simple as refilling a prescription, and there is no way to get ahold of a real person to try and figure out the issue when they inevitably mess it up. I take two medications for lifelong conditions that cause significant harm if they're interrupted, and the entire time I've been with Esse, I have not been able to rely on them ONCE to refill my very time-sensitive medications when I need them. We're talking WEEKS behind on refills, all on Esse's part. I don't want to find a new doctor, but I feel like I have to, for my own health and safety.

About 30 years with Dr. Meyr-Cherry and she will be sorely missed. The staff is a very important integral part of the continuity of professional, courteousness, friendliness and care of all patients. They truly stand tall in what can be an extremely difficult position.
