Dr. Blake didn't know enough about Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS)to have taken an appointment with me to begin with. When I described the pain and symptoms in areas of my body not associated with the initial flare, he informed me that CRPS doesn't *spread*. CRPS is SYSTEMIC. Any and all symptoms can manifest anywhere in the body. You can be diagnosed with CRPS in your toe and your gastrointestinal system can be having trouble absorbing nutrition from your food...or you can suddenly get swelling in both hands. Dr. Blake said he'd refer me to OHSU for management of my CRPS then documented I'd be getting the referral from my primary care. I ended up waiting for OHSU to call for 3 months before I figured out what happened. He may be good or adequate for common musculoskeletal problems

I have injured my hip over a year ago and have been in a lot of pain. I have seen 3 different orthopedic surgeons, 2 physiatrists among others, and neither of the doctors was able to figure out how to help me. When I saw Dr Blake for the first time, he knew exactly how to treat my condition and referred me to a neuromuscular therapist, and that has been hands down the best thing that happened to me in 2020. I am beyond grateful for doctor Blake’s knowledge and recommendations.

I have seen Dr. Eric Blake several times for shoulder and hip problems. He listens intently, provides care unique to each individual. He is kind and compassionate and understanding. I received injections, referral for physical therapy, and nerve conduction studies. I trust him very much. He has helped me immensely.

I have different doctor, but review is still valid. For a medical office (that has disabled Staff), the chairs in the exam rooms are an insult. The cheapest and smallest of chairs. The chairs inflict so much pain on me that it makes it hard to focus on anything else. This would generate a one star rating. But people handling appointments are very efficient at their job. Higher rating is possible, but not with their exam room set up. Makes them seem like a fly-by-night operation. If they must go cheap at least eliminate the arms off the chairs. Waiting room furniture is ok, but worst exam rooms of any doctor I see. Will leave them as soon as possible because of this one issue. It's so bad that it colors all other impressions of the visit - every time!
