I am honestly not one to ever post a review about anything let alone publicly make a statement about my personal health, but I feel compelled to do so in regards to Dr Jayme Sherman and her staff at Engage Health. I am a retired veteran who has been dealing with medical issues associated with my time in service as well as accidents and health issus after getting out. I have received care through the VA system as well as through private health care for almost 20 years now to varying degrees of success. I am not exaggerating at all when I say that in the past 4 months of being with Dr Sherman, she has addressed every single issue I have been dealing with and has improved or fixed roughly 85% of my concerns while still working to address the remaining issues. Dr. Jayme Sherman and her staff are exceptional human beings. Her focus on patient education, care, and overall wellbeing is unmatched. I've been under her care for over 10 months now and it has been nothing but great. Dr. Sherman and Engage Health are doing (direct) primary care the way it should be experienced. The difference was immediately clear on my first visit. An actual meaningful conversation with my physician about my health and care preferences, all without the insurance companies dictating the terms? Perfect. Dr. Sherman made me feel that she was genuinely interested in my health, and her thoughtful follow-up to my labs and exam only reinforced that feeling. Once you see how a patient-centered approach to healthcare can work, it is hard to close your eyes to the failings of the care that most people experience.

Beyond thankful that we found Dr. Sherman who has provided us affordable and compassionate healthcare. Dr. Sherman has gone above and beyond with offering medical guidance and support for myself, husband and two young children. She is just a quick text or call away to book appointments or to discuss symptoms or sick remedies. One of my favorite things, is that she always checks in after to see how we’re recovering and she debunks health trends I fall for! If you were to ask my husband, one of his favorite things is her transparent pricing and not having to deal with the hassle of insurance companies.
