I was treated at both the Rockville and Gaithersburg locations by Dr. Jin. This review will focus on my experience at the Gaithersburg location. I had no issues with the politeness of Dr. Jin at either location. However, I was put through a stressful and painful ordeal at both locations (two at Rockville and one at Gaithersburg) that turned out to be completely pointless. In short, I was eventually turned away due to “outbursts” I was having during my procedure – which I expressed were due to the extreme pain I was feeling, NOT dental anxiety. Turns out, I had a cracked root and couldn’t even receive a traditional root canal. I went through all of this pain and invalidation for nothing. I was recommended this clinic by my dentist for my root canal and Dr Jin did an excellent job. No pain during or after. He is very pleasant and professional and makes you feel comfortable throughout the process. I would highly recommend his services.

I had a great root canal experience about a year ago with dr jin. he was kind, respectful and i had a pain and relatively stress free procedure . fast forward to a year later, based on my prior experience, i returned with immense pain on the opposite side of my mouth and obviously in need of a root canal. i found dr zhou to be rude and dismissive to the pain i was in even though the xrays clearly show that the tooth is cracked. i explained to her my prior experience and she brushed it off and dismissed me with antibiotics and no pain management and told me to come back in a week for a root canal. i will not be returning. it was a very distressing experience and dr zhou displayed all the characteristics of an inexperienced doctor with no bedside manner or cultural sensitivity.

I was referred to this office for a root canal by my primary dentist. I took the day off work for my 12 pm appointment which was scheduled for a root canal. I showed up at 11:45. Dr. Yelamanchi looked at me for 1 min, said “yes, you need a root canal, but unfortunately I don’t have the time to do it now so you’ll need to schedule another appointment.” What a joke. That was the whole point of the appointment - to get the root canal. Does he not realize that patients have jobs and can’t just take days off work for no reason? Plus - there wasn’t a single patient in the office other than me - probably because of treating patients like this. I’ll take by $2000 elsewhere…

I was given a referral to this office by my primary dentist, for an endodontic evaluation. The goal was to ascertain which one of two teeth (#18 or #19, lower left molars) was becoming sensitive to harder foods. The service I received was, to put it nicely, lackluster. Firstly, I did not know who examined me until after we left the room, as he did not introduce himself when he entered (it was Roumani). His assistant had taken an X-ray prior to his entrance, but he seemingly had no interest in examining it. His first order of business was dropping his metal excavator (or scaler – not sure which one) repeatedly into my mouth, banging it against my lower left molars. Like, what the actual ??
