Endeavor Health Immediate Care - Mount Prospect on Rand Road

This place is awful. Came here for an urgent care visit to test for strep, the nurse told me to test for COVID as well so I did. The front desk lady was awful, more concerned with the Cubs game on the TV than attending to a patient. She also told me my visit was going to be $50 max and I was in network. I got my bill today of $360, when I went on the portal it went up to $507. First off, why is it that much. Second off, why did it increase that much in 20mins. A COVID test is $16 at the store. My bill should not be that much, I was lied to by the front desk and received awful care. Would never refer anyone here or go back!

I had a very frustrating experience at Endeavor Immediate Care and feel other patients should be aware. At the time of my visit, I was told my copay was $100, which I paid. However, I later received a statement showing I still owed additional money. After calling the billing office, I learned my visit had been submitted to insurance as an outpatient visit, resulting in separate charges for both the facility fee and the doctor’s fee. When I asked why I wasn’t informed about these changes at the time of my appointment, I was dismissed. The staff member simply said, “these are the new billing rules,” with no explanation for why this information was not communicated at the office. We have been waiting for the doctor to come in for 30 minutes already. The nurse just let us know it would be another 5 minutes. When we arrived here there wasn’t anyone else waiting. This is too long to wait to be treatment at “urgent care”.

This review is for the Mt Prospect nch immediate care clinic on Rand Rd. I had an excellent experience there and received great care and service from nurse Luz and Dr Perez! Caring and competent. Thank you!!

10/16/2025 I was in the office today for a lingering cough and congestion. I was helped by PA Anna. She was kind and explained everything. I had a chest x-ray. The whole office staff was nice and helpful. I will definitely be back in the future for care! Thank you!
