Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Kentucky

In my 42 years of working in the health care field I have seen it all and have worked with many rehab companies. I must say Encompass Health Rehab stands above them all. Their care and compassion for those they serve is by far the BEST! Big thanks to Clinical Rehab Liaison Jamie Sams, the face of this organization as she always goes out of her way to help those in need of rehab services. It is because of Jamie and the staff's professional approach to serving the community at large that I continue to refer families to Encompass. Keep up the excellent work. We appreciate you!

I was admitted here for quite a few weeks after 2 broken legs and a brain injury (2022) Physical therapy was top notch and my occupational therapy was great. Food was good and everyone was nice and apologetic if they couldn't get to me in time for my meds or something I had called out for. Granted I was probably the youngest patient they had but I was also bed ridden and forgetful and extremely depressed and full of anxiety and I cried everyday because I wanted to go home to my kids and everyone was understanding and never rude or mean to me.

The team here is incredible! Everyone, from therapists to nurses, was caring, encouraging, and truly focused on helping my loved one recover and regain independence. They made a tough time so much easier, and we’re deeply grateful for their support. Highly recommend!

My father was in rehab here a few years ago and it was fantastic. Move to this year, father was sent to encompass from St. Elizabeth. This place has fallen way down hill. Extremely poor communication between staff, ie doctors, nurses, and aides. My father was left multiple times soaking wet for hours. So much that he developed a skin issue which was not present at the hospital. He was continued to be left soaking wet with no help for hours. Day after day. When anything was addressed, they repeated they were short staffed. This went on the two weeks he was at rehab until he was finally sent home. We rarely spoke with a doctor, even after requesting to speak with him. Many of the aides were no where to be seen. If we were able to get an aide, it would take four hours to receive what we asked

U all have always been there 4 me I have nothing but good brase about u all from the front desk through to maintance and every one in between leaving no one out u all are gold I can count on u to pick me up and get me going again u all have worlds best doctors nurses therapists and techs pharmacists cooks and techs housekeepers maintenance and everyone 💖 I can always 💖 count on my encompass to lift me up and get me going again it has been a pleasure to know u all you are the best no one c as n compare to you all thanks so much Melanie mcmullen your the best i love you all thanks 💖
