Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital

This is a nice facility. Staff were nice. My only problem was I'd been in intensive care for 9 days they moved me to rehab and 2 days later they basically pushed me out the door an said take care. Yes I missed home but I wasn't ready to come home yet. They didn't even give me a Dr's note for work. I'm still not steady on my feet. In the hospital they had me where I was monitored so strict if I got close to the edge of the bed alarms would go off. Same thing in the wheel chair. I was a fall disk I understand that. But it's just the way they pushed me out the door. What was I supposed to do when I got home rehab myself? Don't get me wrong I loved the floor staff. But whoever made the decisions on who to put out is who I blame. My family dr. Jillian Kimbrel fit me into her schedule now I go

My husband , Paul received great care at Encompass. He was well treated by the friendly, efficient staff. The physical, ot and speech therapy helped him be able to come back home more quickly. Highly recommend this awesome place!

The physical and occupational therapist were great. They got me walking again. The case managers were amazing they in on me daily. The HR lady check in on my daily even if it to make smile.o didn’t like the team or doctors nor the NP. I feel like they didn’t care enough and wasn’t aware of how to treat someone of multiple health problem with me. They gave me blood the discharged me immediately after And I do mean immediately. I only had one nurse and 2 techs that were rude Randy RN tech Kelly and Yuri. I didn’t understand why a nephrologist was handle hematology issues. No one address my lupus which I knew it was a flare. After discharge my rheumatologist told me it is out of control. The food service was awful it took them forever to bring my order. No one ever came by to take my order ah

The nurses and entire staff took great care of my mom during her stay. They were amazing with her and went out of their way to make sure all her needs were met and she was comfortable. Her case manager was awesome and she made sure we had everything we needed to continue her care at home. She even followed up with us after we got back home. Thank you Encompass for getting my mom ready to come back home.I highly recommend Encompass for anyone who needs any type of rehabilitation.
