EMSA

On December 11 at 1:30 PM I had my physician called the paramedics as she saw the state that I was in with my asthma attack. She called the Oklahoma City EMSA department. In all my 42 years, I’ve never ridden inside of a paramedic unit had the experience of paramedic care. But I’m here to tell you with no favoritism nor bias bone in my body. This one of the most comforting, encouraging rides I’ve ever been on just to save my life. Avery and Andrew were my care team and the paramedics that took care of me from the moment they put me on the stretcher and strapped me in , got my fluids going got vitals on me they both are phenomenal human beings and gave me a little Hope that there’s still good people out there. At 3am in -15° , right infront of the hospital, on our way home from work, we had a flat tire and my husband and I both, had tried to cha get the tire in the freezing weather, without sufficient protection and while it took almost an hour and several attempts, my man finally got the tire on. But for the same ambulance driver who felt the need to circle the block 5 times, and the 3 diff city police officers who also couldn't be bothered to offer their services, were absolutely the reason we have no care to *support our local emergency personel with fundraisers, or other appreciation methods. If youre bored,or spouse to be parked in an area tk be available for on-call emergencies, then how about you NOT drive circles around the hospital to gawk at a citizen who OBVIOUSLY was in distress and

I Fell on a Sunday morning , Hubby called for help I couldn't get up. While hubby was helping, he fell and hurt his shoulder they didn't even ask if he was ok or help him up. He was told don't call for amblance and to walk to hospital. We live close to hospital. I was upset the he was treated.
