Kennedy was fantastic to meet with. She was caring and straight to the point. She, in my opinion, took her time to explain what was happening in my knee and what her concerns were. She gave me a simple course of action to follow which I did. It has worked wonderfully. I called earlier that day as a walk in and was in and out quickly. Thank you EmergeOrtho.

This was my first visit and I was very impressed with how efficient things ran. Everyone i came in contact with had a smile on their face. I was treated with compassion and a true concern for my knee. My PA Ryan was great. Explained everything and gave me hope that I will be able to walk again pain free!! I haven't met Dr. Hocker yet but I'm sure he will be awesome too!! Very happy with my decision to come to Emerge for my knee problem.

I’m six weeks out from my total knee replacement performed by Dr Shawn Hocker on 12/31/25. I am very pleased with my progress and so is Dr Hocker. He is a busy man but has answered all my questions, explained the procedure, and set me up for success. Also much appreciated were the pre-and-post surgery visits with DPT Baker Campbell. He explained what I could expect during my recovery and provided helpful insights on daily activities, the importance of home exercise, and managing expectations. I thought it was excellent planning to receive pre-op home exercises as well as post-op. I believe Emerge Ortho has a thoughtful system in place to ensure successful patient recovery.

Thank you Dr Steven, you did your job to the number my Ankle feels good and stable I have to work on my small details on it. However your support STAFF sucks. I went to see you and I was in good mood the only think I wanted to say to you was thank you. But I sat there and I witnessed this I had an appointment yesterday scheduled for 1520, but I was not seen until 1625. During that time, I noticed multiple people being called in and out, and I could see that several others were visibly upset as well. I want to be clear that I have no issue with Dr. Stevens, as I respect the care provided. However, every time I visit the Shipyard office, there always seems to be some issue. The staff at this location are very courteous and respectful. They know how to encourage steps forward in therapy through hard work, understanding, and challenge without demeaning the person. Thank you for that! Way better experience than what I had at the Ashton location.
