EmergeOrtho Mt.View Hickory Orthopedic Clinic

This was my initial consult with Marlee Langer. She was very nice. Took her time explaining things, asking questions to better understand and I did not feel rushed. I enjoyed my visit because she didnt make it stressful and presented options instead of pushing straight for surgery (which other practices have in the past).

I saw PA Sarah Padgett for the first time this week. I was impressed with her professionalism as well as her patient-focused presentation. She did not make me feel rushed; rather she took the time to carefully listen to each question and provided answers that were clear and easy to understand. I was very pleased with PA Padgett and recommend her to others.

Received excellent care at EmergeOrtho Hickory. This was the second time I have taken my grandson due to injury. All staff was caring and professional each time we visited. The wait time to be seen was very short each time. Great service!

My appointment went as smooth as possible today(12/12/25). I completed my pre-registration on their portal & when I arrived to check in, I simply had to give them my name. No additional paperwork to complete. I was called back for x-rays almost immediately. Sarah Padgett, PA came in a few minutes later and gave me all the time I needed, as she explained my x-ray results & treatment options & patiently answered all my questions. Sarah was very professional & thorough. I was referred to EmergeOrtho by my primary care physician. It was a 5-star experience.

Dr Umbel had a very pleasant and confident manner. He listened and gave excellent solutions. Very thorough. I do not hesitate to recommend him.
