Don’t know why I received a $67.00 bill 6 months after having paid for everything the hospital billed me that wasn’t covered by my insurance. Is that for the 90 seconds the Dr. spent in the room with me? Trying to navigate to finding out what the charge was actually for was so difficult I gave up and just paid it. I am absolutely certain that I am not the only person who has ever done that. Just sayin.

Dr Andrew Martin of Emergency Resources Group unethically billed my husband's ER visit at Baptist Beach in Jax Beach for a moderate visit. He went in for agonizing pain related to a toothache. The dr examined Jeremy by looking in his mouth, zero physical contact. The admission time was 3:11 a.m. and the report submission time was 3:37 a.m. The American Medical Association (AMA) best practice guidelines indicate that a moderate ER evaluation should include: “Office or other outpatient consultation for a new or established patient, requiring a medically appropriate history and/or examination and a moderate level of medical decision making. When using total time on the date of the encounter for code selection, 40 minutes must be met or exceeded.” Visit duration was 26 minutes. In addition,

Went to the ER; they never billed my insurance. One year later, it’s on my credit, and they admit to not billing my insurance but refuse to remove it from my credit. Now I am actively working with my insurance to try and get this issue situated, which shouldn’t be my job. They are the worst.

I went to Baptist downtown when I broke my arm. I have full coverage through the VA. Everyone else at Baptist got paid except for emergency resources. Group and me along with the VA have been working for almost 3 to 4 years now to get emergency resources group to properly file with the VA to get paid or to get an unjust debt off my credit report. Emergency resources group uses a third-party for their financial stuff, Who outsources collections to another third-party But unfortunately, for me, the company reporting on my credit report isn’t the company that emergency resources group is tracking has Account. So they’re having problems getting in unjust debt removed from my credit report because they placed it with the wrong people and for whatever reason they can’t get in touch with them to
