Emergency Department - Long Island Jewish Valley Stream

I would not recommend Franklin Hospital to anyone. My father was recently a patient there and the lack of care from the staff is deeply concerning. We found a used syringe left in his room, which is a massive safety and hygiene violation. It is clear the staff is not paying attention to basic protocols or the well-being of their patients. If you care about your loved ones, look for care elsewhere. This level of negligence is unacceptable. ​Important

Horrible horrible very traumatizing experience. You will be better off in St. John’s. Came in for a headache and they wanted to drug me up with 4 different medications. I allowed them to give me 1 and they did not tell me it could cause jitters and shakes, them knowing I haven’t slept good in over a week. I felt exhausted and shaky it caused me to panic and the nurses checked my blood pressure it was sky rocketed and they proceed to do nothing just walk away from me. They offered Ativan that took ANOTHER HOUR to arrive so I was sitting in uncomfortable due to their poor communication for longer than I was supposed to. Traumatizing the way I was ignored and spoken to. When the Ativan did not work to calm me down they just offered another. And then when I decided to leave because I realized

TERRIBLE. I came here because my daughter wasn’t feeling well, they gave her a few test & we waited. About 30 mins into the visit I asked for pampers and wipes they gave me a big towel with sink soap. I was in shock. On of the nurses got in trouble for getting me pampers! This is a terrible unprofessional facility.

🔥 Harsh / No-filter ZERO STARS!!! This is hands down the worst hospital I’ve ever been to. The nurses were extremely rude, dismissive, and had disgusting attitudes. If you have personal or relationship problems, leave them at home—patients are not here to absorb your negativity. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Worst Hospital

If i could leave a 0 star review i would!!! I waited for hours to finally be seen and when i finally did get seen i had the luxury of getting Jessica Gallucci as my nurse. Exepct it wasnt a Luxury. I politely asked for the bathroom and medicine for Nasuea as i was throwing up all night. Jessica tells me to either wait or go to a different emergency room. Mind you i already waited for hours to just to get into this ER and finally be seen. When I called her out for being rude she once again told me to go somewhere else. When i asked for another nurse she once again said “Nope” “Go somewhere else if you dont like it” This is no way to treat your pateints espically ones who are just looking to you for help. I hope she gets her nursing license revoked. I asked to talk to the supervisor and she
