This was hands down the most incredible massage I have ever received! Joseph is incredibly talented. I have dealt with chronic pain since 2020 and I usually leave massages feeling some percentage better but after just one session with Joseph I feel absolutely restored. I wish I would have found Joseph years ago !!! I cannot say enough good things. He is an incredible massage therapist! I will definitely be going here and only here in the future!!

I’ve had many massages, but my session with Joseph at Embody Work RVA was truly unlike anything I’ve experienced before. From the start, Joseph was incredibly attentive to my trouble areas and deeply tuned in to what my body needed—both physically and mentally. He created a space where I felt completely comfortable, checking in with me throughout the session to make sure the pressure and approach were just right. This was not a cookie-cutter massage like you get at a typical franchise studio—it was fully personalized and intentional. I left feeling grounded, relaxed, and genuinely cared for. I will absolutely be going back and recommending Joseph to all of my friends.

His technique is a wonderful blend of skillful anatomically focused work and a relaxed, empathetic mindset that helps make the experience top tier.
