Mom just got admitted. She’s a high fall risk. Went to visit her. No bed or chair alarms. After about 30 minutes she said she had to go to the bathroom. It was change of shift so aid said she would have to wait. I took her. Her pants were soaked with urine up to her lower back. After I was done changing her then an aid showed up. Typical nursing home. Almost everyone has their faces in their phones.

Genielle is amazing with her patients, always bright and cheerful! She treated my family member like they were one her own! Keep it up girl!

I challenge anyone to find the perfect nursing facility. People think just because a family member gets a bed sore it's automatically the facilities fault. That's not always the case. You have to consider their diagnosis. People also think our staff do nothing but sit around at a computer. Unless you are an employee or work in this field you may not know the sets employees have to take to do their job. I also must say this, not to sound dispectful, our staff should not have to endure the disrespect or abuse (verbal or other), however we do and do it with grace. Respect us and we will respect you. I toured the facility recently while in town for a family member in need of care. I was impressed with the staff and cleanliness!

My grandfather was given excellent care. The staff was very attentive.
