This place did not follow ip on an infection to one of my.family members. They were in the hospital for pneumonia and needed to go to a rehab facility do to being bedridden for a few weeks. When she entered the facility, she was infection free. She had a Foley do to her not moving which made her bladder have some urine retention. She was suppose to be on the Foley for a week however the NP from Inspira who has worked at this facility for many years kept it in saying she needed to walk more. She then developed burning and cloudy urine on Jan. 27th. After several attempts to notify the nurses and the NP, an order for a urine test did not occur until Feb. 2nd with results not coming back to Feb 4th. Very personable front desk help. Sign in was easy. Check out was great too and even helped with setting up salon service payment. We met a wonderful young man named Justin who is wonderful to his patient. She gives him very high praises. Thank you for taking care of her during this time.

We had a nice visit with my mother this afternoon. Everyone is so pleasant and helpful. The housekeeping manager stopped in my mother’s room to check on something and he noticed that her privacy curtains were getting shabby looking. He told us that he would be sure to have them replaced or washed right away. We really appreciate that everyone there is looking out for my Mom’s well being.

I'd prefer to give them zero rating. This facility needs to be investigated!!! AND CHARGED FOR MAKING FALSE POLICE REPORTS!!!! I had guardianship of my mom after a Judge reviewed her change in mental capacity. Cancer METASTICIZED TO HER BRAIN!!!!!. I put her here for physical therapy, YOU LEGALLY ARE ENTITLED TO 14 DAYS IF YOU'RE ON MEDICARE INSURANCE!!!! THEY WERE BOTHERED EVERY TIME I RESPECTFULLY CHALLENGED TH3M!!! It turned out she was at end of life. I switched her to the hospice care on their site. They were so aggressive to me that I called police to escort me to say my goodbyes. A week later I received a call from them saying she we fell. Her friend went to check on her. She went there for physical therapy in December and passed away January 2nd. At no fault of the facility

The staff and nurses are amazing. Other places I have dealt with before, they would give me the social workers number. They never called back no matter how many times you called. But with Elmwood Hills, their social workers are on the ball. They text you back or call if you prefer it. If I could give Elmwood Hills 10 stars I would. 🌟 And a special thanks to Heidi, one of Elmwood Hills social workers, thank you so much for ALWAYS being available to text or speak. You really made everything that much easier!
