Elman Retina Group - Pikesville

My initial consult was with Dr. Elman, and Dr. Dao did my vitrectomy. I wanted the surgery to be done as soon as possible, and they arranged this. Gloria was very fast with FMLA papers. My right eye visual acuity went from 20/80 to 20/40, and it seems it's still improving. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome.

I called for a new patient appt on a Monday for my mom they brought her in that Wednesday everyone from the phone call to the office were so kind and professional The office is clean the staff is always smiling and Dr. Elman was the best. Everyone was very thorough and explained every step of the process. Dr Elman explained my mom's condition to her very thoroughly so she could understand even showed a movie to her to help understand then went over the treatment. We are overly happy with this practice and would recommend Elman Retina Group to anyone having retina issues. Thank you to all of you for quick appointment my mom was very happy today.

Everyone at the Elman Retinal group was absolutely lovely and helpful! My son, who is on the autism spectrum, was feeling uptight, and they helped him calm down. Dr. Elman offered him a bagel, and the technician asked him if he wanted it toasted. Then she went and toasted the bagel for him! It did the trick! What special, beautiful caring! Thank you Dr. Elman, and thank you to the whole staff!

This is by far the best group of retina specialists I have been to in my 10 years of treatment for a condition in both eyes. Everyone that I have encountered at the multiple branches of this practice that I've visited has been incredibly courteous, kind, and wonderful. While eye treatment can be a stressful experience elsewhere, Dr. Dao and the entire team at Elman Retina Group provide stress-free, compassionate treatment and really take the time to explain procedures and treatment options.

The office was obviously following COVID19 guidelines and that made me comfortable with having to go into the office for treatment. The staff is not only very professional, but it was also a pleasure to interact with each and every one of them (from the appointment line to the in-office staff). I arrived a few minutes early and my care was started shortly thereafter (before my appointment time!). Everyone explained everything I needed to know and answered my questions thoroughly along the way. A very calming and pleasant experience overall. I highly recommend this practice.
