They don't deserve 1 star but this stupid thing requires 1 to submit. This place is a huge joke. They say they are there for people with mental illness but yet that is as long as they don't become a single parent with no support and cant get a babysitter then that woman gets shoved aside like they are nothing all because they cant get a babysitter they don't get help from the clubhouse at all... not even to get a ride to the pantry to get food to feed their child and themselves as far as i am concerned the clubhouse association should be shut down for pushing aside ppl who need the help the most.. they encourage ppl to speak up and ask for help yet when someone who calls who is unable to get a babysitter and is going through so much that they feel like they are sinking in life and finally

Elkhart County Clubhouse is a non-residential community of support for adults with a history of mental illness. This organization is helping those who struggle with mental illness in interesting and innovative ways, providing support for employment, education, housing, and various other supports, in a non-hierarchal, non-clinical setting. Members come together to help each other as they work on their own recovery. Elkhart County Clubhouse is proudly accredited by Clubhouse International, and fills a much-needed gap in the recovery process. It's a worthwhile organization that is saving and transforming lives.

Can't say enough good things about this place. Caring and accepting of everyone without being pitiful. Supportive and encouraging without being bossy or authoritarian.
