I came in as a new patient and I have to say everybody from the front desk clerk to the back office staff, lab, and especially Dr. Miguel Elizondo were all so helpful, welcoming, and friendly. Dr. Elizondo took his time and explained to me his thoughts regarding my concern. He noticed my fear and provided me comfort by letting me know exactly what the plan would be to get my health back in order. He took his time and wasn’t rushed, when explaining everything to me. Linda, Ann Marie, and Hailey were all so informative and were ready to ensure that my visit went smoothly. Linda took the time to explain the follow up process and gave me an option of different office locations for my convenience. I always have a wonderful experience when I come to my visits here, the staff is wonderful they are so friendly, I love the attention the nurse practitioners and Dr give me. They take care of all of my needs. I’ve been to other doctors before and I must stress they don’t really take the time to actually go thru your chart and explain things the way these doctors and nurse practitioners do. They answer every question, and doubt you may have. Definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Ever since they moved to the new office on Gulf Street, there has been nothing but mistakes and problems with getting medicines refilled. Billing and appointments.I think the staff needs to be updated or replaced.

I had to find a new pcp because the md office in benavides was not getting anything done for my referrals. This office right when u walk in and talk to them over the phone they are professional and always treat u well. My referral were done asap on my First day meeting np Rick. Being a nurse and experiencing what patients experience to get referrals from md and staff not listening I was disappointed of how some offices can be. However I can finally breath and have a since of relief knowing my care is taken care of and elizondo staff cares about my health and well being.

I had an extremely frustrating experience at Dr. Carlos Elizondo’s office in Alice, TX. I went in for a physical exam on June 25, 2025, for my Medical Assistant program. I submitted my school form and was told my lab results would be ready within a week. Despite following up multiple times by phone and even in person, it still took nearly a month to receive my lab results from June 25 and get my paperwork signed and returned — even though it was time-sensitive for my school enrollment. I called the office on July 2, 3, 10, 11, and 15, and I even went to the clinic in person on July 11, only to be told it still wasn’t completed. My prescription was also delayed for over two weeks, and I didn’t receive it until I called and asked what happened. I was only told then that it was delayed beca
