Elite Elder Care

My husband received the most excellent care at the home, part of Elite Elder Care. The low number in this home provided individualized feeding, bathing, and specialized care for my husband with Alzheimer’s. Not only did they care within the facility, but when they moved him to the hospital, someone stayed with him night and day to make sure they were an advocate for him and his medical concerns. My father enjoys the facility as well and continues to get specialized care for all his needs. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the caregivers, the people who run the homes of Elite elder care. Their genuine concern and love for each patient is evident each and every day.

I have taken my husband several times for care here. Recently used a free Hospice service that would not accommodate his power chair or regular routines. He is much happier going to Elite Elder Care . I know that I can leave town and that he will be in good hands and well cared for, he also really likes the staff. It’s also easier for me to make plans when I can reserve a spot for him even months ahead of time for big trips. I highly recommend this group. And will be using them again next week.

My mother lived in an Elite Elder Care home for 15 months until her passing. They lovingly cared for her as her advanced Parkinson's Disease and dementia progressed. They took her to medical appointments and when she needed to be hospitalized, they stayed at her bedside to advocate for her. They treated her like a family member and cried alongside me when she passed away. There is no doubt in my mind that she received the best care possible and that it not only prolonged her life, but gave her a much better quality of life than any other option. This was definitely the best option available once Mom needed a high level of care.

We brought my stepfather to the Williamsburg location after Sentara Williamsburg basically kicked him out when he was on death's doorstep. Toni and the crew provided adequate care for the ~48 hours he lived after arriving. No real complaints about the care but we only had 48 hours' worth. My chief issue is the predatory pricing model. EEC charges an exorbitantly high initial setup fee, which might make sense in some cases, but didn't in ours. We paid it because we really had no other viable options. I was hoping Toni would take an honest look at her costs and revenues and charge a fee that was in line with ethical profit margins, but that didn't happen. We paid 10 times what we would have paid at a full-service skilled nursing facility. Sadly all the SNFs in the area were full, so
